Wingate by Wyndham Angola is currently looking for a Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant you will be responsible for servicing guests in the breakfast area, replenish as needed and bus tables.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests with a friendly welcome and a smile. Responding promptly to guest questions, concerns and requests.
• Make sure buffet area is clean and well organized.
• Maintain a clean, pleasant and professional image to the guest, wearing the proper uniform at all times.
• Set up buffet area for breakfast.
• Serve food and beverage quickly and courteously. Guest goes through buffet line themselves, however; serve them coffee and specialty menu items.
• Replenish food and beverage as needed or as ordered, pick up trash and wipe up spills.
• Replenish all breakfast supplies as needed and necessary.
• Complete any special cleaning projects as assigned. Clean up any breakage or accidents immediately.
• Follow and execute all checklist duties.
• Communicate with Chef on any out of stock items.
• Greet the guest within 3 minutes of being seated.
• Place guest check within 15 minutes of service.
• Understand all amenities of the hotel.
• Take ownership of the customer’s needs, do whatever it takes to please the guest.
• Close out shift accurately using system.
• Balance all cash and have deposit witnessed.
• Provide assistance to other team members to contribute to the smooth operation of the department and the hotel.
• Follow good housekeeping habits and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to work autonomously and sell effectively
• Outstanding people skills
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
• Self-motivated. Ability to work without constant supervision.
