Physician Management Resources is Hiring a Remote Credentialing Specialist

Physician Management Resources, a Boston based, national medical practice consulting company is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing company with a supportive management structure.

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for facilitating the credentialing process and performing tasks related in third party payer credentialing and contracting.

  • Maintaining practitioner information in electronic format
  • Completing on-line and paper documents for insurance companies
  • Maintaining CAQH profiles
  • Monitoring expiring documents

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts of independent providers and third-party payer credentialing.
  • 2 of credentialing experience.
  • Strong computer skills and appropriate home office set up.
  • Experience with Modio or other Credentialing Software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Discretion and judgment in the handling of confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Ability to perform job tasks accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
