We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant with the Accounting Department. This position will be responsible for preparing monthly reports, reconciliations, and journal entries, as well as providing account analysis and ad-hoc reports when requested.
Suns Legacy Partners (SLP) strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust. Across our many departments, many SLP employees participate in the SLP Remote Work Program and are able to work remotely in their homes, in offices, and in hoteling spaces. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona.
What Will You Do:
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries
- File monthly sales taxes
- Maintain capital asset inventory
- Maintain account reconciliations
- Analyze monthly financials
- Prepare year-end audit support as needed
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
What We Need From Our Sr. Accountant:
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Great Plains experience preferred
Experience/ Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Required: 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Preferred: Licensed Certified Public Accountant

- Traditional business hours with occasional weekends, evenings, and some holidays to meet business needs

- This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
- S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
- Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor
- Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
- Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
