**$1,000 HIRING BONUS** 

STARTING SALARY: $55,785-$65,000 Annually Dependent on Experience

This position is responsible for performing journey level skilled technical work for facilities maintenance. Responsibilities: 

• Facility maintenance in area of specialty to include doors and door hardware, roll up doors, sliding doors and automatic doors, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, backflows, access control, conveyor systems and fire systems.
• Installs and maintains equipment: electric motors, lights, ballast, VFD’s, sensors, bearings, rollers, conveyor belt, pulleys, shafts, pumps, water fountains, plumbing fixtures.
• Operates and maintains complex vehicles and/or equipment.
• Troubleshoots complex problems and provides specialized technical services such as interpreting blueprints, identifying potential areas of operational concern, or providing support for special projects.
• Performs site inspections and monitors the quality of maintenance work to ensure project and operational compliance with internal and external safety regulations.
• Complies a variety of data of materials handled, equipment operations, equipment conditions, maintenance, and repair activities, and prepares regulatory reports.

This position differs from the Facilities Maintenance Technician I by the ability to independently plan, manage and complete larger more complex building maintenance projects. Additionally, this position is expected to demonstrate a greater level of specialized knowledge and work independently. This position reports to the Facilities Maintenance Manager and performs other duties as assigned.

High school, GED or equivalent and five (5) years of combined journey level technical experience in multiple technical areas or (5) years of experience in assigned area of responsibility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation. Experience with Microsoft office. Valid Arizona Driver's License required by hire date.

PREFERRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Journeyman Electrician Certification
• Lift and High Reach Certification
• Journeyman level Certification in install and maintenance of conveyor systems.
• Journeyman Automatic Door Certification
• Journeyman Fire Sprinkler or Alarm Certification
