Phoebe is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our dedicated nursing team! This position is eligible for sign-on bonus!
Skills crucial to success in this role:
- Responsible to perform a variety of duties in order to provide quality nursing care to residents
- Oversee the nursing care to residents and maintain consistency of operations in the nursing neighborhood
- Assess residents and analyze information to develop a plan of care
- Plan and implement individualized care plans for residents based upon assessments
- Administer medications and treatments, as well as I.V. Fluids and supplemental nourishments
- Perform rounds according to established daily schedules; document residents’ progress, deterioration, changes in condition, etc.
- Coordinate work within neighborhoods and other departments
- Respond to inquiries or requests for information
- Meet with residents or residents’ family members to resolve concerns or complaints related to care
- Directly supervise a group of nursing assistants, LPNs, and RNs to ensure their assignments within designated neighborhoods are completed
Must Have's:
- Graduate of a comprehensive nursing program; current Pennsylvania license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Two years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations
- Supervisory skills and ability to manage a small group of employees
