We're hiring a Maintenance Technician to join Phoebe Ministries at our four facilities

Responsibilities 

Repairs doors, door locks and other door hardware, cabinets, windows, window screens, dresser drawers, furniture and furniture hardware as needed. Repairs hospital beds, bed rails, and other bed positioning devices. Repairs medicine carts and associated hardware. Repairs and adjusts wheelchairs as needed.  Assists with set-ups of various rooms for resident activities. Moves furniture in offices and resident rooms. Repairs drywall and plaster areas. Repairs acoustical ceiling tiles. Repairs vinyl floor tiles.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent life experience 
• Knowledge and experience in general maintenance skills in an institutional environment desired.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools. Ability to work safely and use tools appropriately to the job being performed.
