We're hiring for a Full-Time 1st Shift - Financial Counselor II with long-term care experience to join Phoebe Ministries at our Richlandtown Campus — 5 minutes from Quakertown and 30 minutes from Allentown. Financial Counselor II will not work on Weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Records and reconciles facility’s daily census and validates census information
• Verifies insurance coverage of new admissions, readmissions, and current patient roster
• Completes financial asset updates, maintains financial records, and processes refunds for current residents.
• Assists and ensures completion and submission of Medicaid applications per Department of Human Services guidelines.
• Processes monthly resident statements and submits billing to long term care insurance companies.
• Accepts, logs, and reconciles cash receipts in accordance with cash posting process.
• Generates monthly private statements and monitors accounts receivable.
• Disburses resident funds to the resident/POA upon request.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or related course of study preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in related positions required.
• Teamwork, flexibility, and excellent customer service required.
