Phoebe is seeking a full-time Executive Director of the Office ofPhilanthropy. The Executive Director must be motivated andenthusiastic about Phoebe Ministries’ Mission, Vision, and Values.This role reports directly to the organization’s President andCEO.

The Executive Director provides overall leadership for PhoebeMinistries’ Philanthropy Program; and works closely with thePresident/CEO to assure Phoebe’s fundraising goals are achieved. Collaborates with the Executive Director of Marketing andExternal Relations on projects to enhance institutional advancementefforts.

The Executive Director manages a team of 6 Philanthropyemployees. and will exhibit comfort and proficiency with a widerange of philanthropic work, including solicitation and stewardshipof individual, foundation, and corporate donors, potential donorcultivation and research, grant writing, and special-events. TheExecutive Director must have demonstrated ability to build aculture of philanthropy within an organization and to engage inone-on-one solicitations and ongoing donor stewardshipsuccessfully.

The leader in this role will possess a successful track recordin translating a vision into a work plan with measurable outcomes,setting priorities, achieving goals, and managing multipleprojects. Is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, andflexible. Is a driving force who manages toward clarity, findssolutions, and can identify strategic development opportunities forthe organization. Demonstrates excellent verbal and writtencommunication and people skills.

We are looking for an individual who has ten or more years’fundraising experience, with a demonstrated ability to build aculture of philanthropy within an organization.

Compensation is generous and commensurate with experience andincludes bonus potential.
