• General Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting the Director, Nursing Services in various administrative tasks; implementing strategies to achieve goals, complying with operating policies and procedures as well as outside regulatory requirements; communicating with appropriate personnel; providing periodic reports. Position requires on call rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsible for acting as the Facility’s infection preventionist and managing all aspects of infection control program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current Pennsylvania license to practice as a Registered Nurse, certificate in CPR.
• Thorough knowledge of current long-term care nursing practices in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Health long-term care licensure regulations.
• Minimum three (3) years’ supervisory experience in long-term care nursing.
• Current certification as infection preventionist
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control, and federal and state regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, and family members
• Excellent organizational skills and computer skill
• Three (3) month prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Pay: $65,891.30 - $100,000.00 per year
