General Duties
- Provides helpful, timely, and professional customer assistance to users experiencing technology issues (in person, via phone, and via e-mail)
- Prioritizes and schedules problems; escalates problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
- Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software.
- Resolves technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), printers, desktops, Laptops, and other systems.
- Records, tracks, and documents the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to the final resolution using ticketing software.
- Tests fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.
- Creates and manages users and computers in Active Directory structure.
- Provides phone support and training to new users.
- Install and configure software and computer systems
- Assists in setting up new users and passwords.
- Assist with login problems.
- Communicates and collaborates with all departments to answer a variety of questions, and to deliver services in an efficient and effective manner; cross-trains to provide additional support as needed for other services.
- Coordinates with technical staff to install and configure software, hardware, cabling, desktop operating systems, and other computer-related technologies to assist users
- Coordinates with technical staff to maintain desktop images for employees
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of related experience providing technical support for desktops laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Evidence of successful completion of a professional IT training program (e.g. Google IT Support, AppleCare, Apple App Dev, Cloud Computing, or Adobe Foundations)
- Prior work experience in a professional environment
- Information technology support experience
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience with system integration across multiple systems and platforms utilizing various technologies required
- Previous experience with Salesforce, QuickBooks, general PC, and Apple Products required
Working Environment
This position will report on-site and is not available to be remote or hybrid.
