Pay range $16.50- 18 per hour!

 

Philia is seeking compassionate, attentive and trustworthy caregivers to join our mission in providing extraordinary home care to our clients. Our business is locally owned and operated by those who have a passion for helping seniors age with grace, dignity, and respect. Our caregivers are a valuable part of our team, and we are here to support you throughout their caregiving journey! 

* Our valued caregivers enjoy a variety of shifts, competitive pay and are always treated with kindness and respect.

* Caregivers follow a daily care schedule, in a one on one relationship, in the client's home. 

* We offer paid training to all Care Advocates, which covers the following responsibilities:

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
  • Assist with ADLs to clients (bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating)

  • Assist in the transport of clients
    Provide companionship and basic care to clients

  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment

  • Build rapport with our clients; engage in conversation and provide companionship

Caregiver Requirements:

  • 2 years or more of nursing assistant care is required
  •  DC Home Health Aide license is required.

  • Must be 18 years or older and legal to work in the US 

  • Current TB, CPR, and health screen.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Able to pass a background check

  • A professional and friendly attitude

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor

  • Work well in teams 

  • Enjoy spending time with seniors!

Job Location: DC Metroplex 

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift

  • 6 hour shift

  • Day shift

  • Holidays

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekend availability

  • Weekends only
