Administrative Office Assistant
Philadelphia FIGHT Community Health Centers is looking for a multitasker with excellent communications skills and a "can-do attitude" to work in our Administration Department. Candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. The Administrative Assistant must be comfortable with computers and general office tasks and excel at verbal and written communication. Most importantly, administrative assistants should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Office Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
• Associate Degree is preferred, High School Diploma or GED is required
• Previous experience in a related field preferred
• Self-driven; excellent customer care skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to maintain a strict level of confidence
• Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Physical Demands
Occasional lifting of 10-20 lbs. and pushing of 5-20 lbs.
Sitting approximately 80% of the time
Normal accessibility and mobility required
Ability to work at a computer screen for long periods of time

Introductory period is three (3) months. Performance of other tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
Philadelphia FIGHT requires proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series for all new employees hired. An approved medical exemption and an approved religious exemption can be honored consistent with EEOC regulation.
