Pharos Systems International Inc is Hiring a Remote Sales Development Representative

Pharos is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The SDR is at the forefront of our sales & marketing process, responsible for building awareness of Pharos in our target market and developing interest in our products and services. As an SDR, you’ll learn the foundations of SaaS enterprise sales – foundations you can build your sales career on. This role can be remote or hybrid.

An SDR at Pharos is focused on new business and produces sales opportunities by fielding inbound inquiries and through targeted outreach to prospects based on key data attributes that our company has defined over our decades in operation. 

What you get to do:

  • Generate qualified sales leads through a defined methodology and refer these leads to the appropriate regional field sales team.
  • Set appointments for the field sales team using multiple communication channels (phone, email, social media, leveraging marketing campaigns and other marketing communications, etc.).
  • Achieve monthly production quotas pertaining to appointment.
  • Update Salesforce CRM database with company and decision maker names, contact information, standard demographic information and log activity history.
  • Capture business information through your interactions with prospects.
  • Project a positive image consistent with our values in representing Pharos to clients and the community.
  • Strive to consistently gain technical, competitive and sales skills knowledge to stay agile and relevant in today's business climate.

In addition, you will:

  • Lead by example by demonstrating Pharos values and inspiring a culture of top performing team players
  • Be an expert on Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other technology that supports the SDR team
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of inbound marketing at Pharos

What you bring:

  • AAS Business or equivalent. BS degree preferred
  • 2 years business experience which includes successful cold calling 
  • Knowledge of information technology and SaaS software is a plus
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and database data entry
  • Skills complemented by exceptional written and oral skills and strong organizational abilities
  • Resourcefulness, critical thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting 
  • Grit, tenacity, and a customer-service attitude
  • Must be adaptable, fun, kind, collaborative & respectful
  • Excellent written & verbal skills 
  • Ability to track and analyze large amounts of data

Performance Goals:

  • Achieve monthly & quarterly production quotas
  • Quality of leads that translate to sales opportunities
  • Knowledge of Pharos solutions, competitive landscape and positioning
  • Data entry quality into Salesforce and develop skills to us other support applications (chat applications, Salesforce.com, etc.)
