We are in search of blending operators to join our Powder Production Team. 

JOB SUMMARY

Transfers nutraceutical powders in the blender for mixing and operates blender from loading to unloading. Keeps records of powder amounts added to the blender and lot numbers on the manufacturing batch records. Performs quality checks on a daily basis and insures that all products maintain the highest quality standards according to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). Must comply with all GMP’s which include wearing appropriate safety protection which include: hairnets, beard nets, gloves, hearing protection, smocks, dust masks, etc.

 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Blending raw materials and documenting weights, batch numbers, lot numbers, and quality checks 
• Cleans blending machine, room, and all auxiliary machinery during full, partial, and back to back cleanups.
• Adherence to all cGMP’s.
• Carry out administrative tasks including ensuring paperwork is complete and correct.
• Be able to clean floors, walls, tables, and keep manufacturing area tidy and clean at all times.
• Perform simple MRP transactions. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school Diploma or GED Preferred
• Blending experience preferred, but will train

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Perform simple mathematics
• Speak, read/write in English
• Write legibly 
• Be able to weigh in Kilograms and read scales, use a calculator and perform simple calculations 

WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

• Day Shift, 6am -4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, some Fridays
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Full range of motion 
• On feet for full shift
