TRAINING SPECIALIST 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Training Specialist at Phalen Leadership Academies, you will support teachers and staff across the network through researching, creating, and presenting professional development sessions to schools across the network. Training Specialists present both virtually and in-person on topics such as instructional strategies and best practices, content-specific needs, classroom community building, and more. You will be expected to analyze data on the network needs to determine appropriate professional development sessions and take the initiative to research best practices to meet the needs of our schools.

LOCATION: This position works remotely, some travel will be required. Candidates must have a dedicated workspace and be equipped with a computer, phone, and high-speed internet. 

DO YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred 
• Valid state teaching license required
• 5 years of previous teaching experience
• Experience in supporting teachers through professional development
• Instructional coaching experience preferred
