COMPLIANCE ASSOCIATE

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

As a Compliance Associate, you will be part of the Compliance/Legal National Team. You will ensure that all state and authorizer regulatory reporting requirements are met. To succeed, you must be resourceful and able to meet deadlines, identify potential high-risk areas, and determine the appropriate corrective course of action.

• Assist in managing systems for accurate scholar data and information in compliance with federal, state, and local expectations.
• Assist in maintaining accurate scholar data and information in compliance with federal, state, and local expectations.
• Assist in ensuring that schools are in compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements.

DO YOU HAVE?

• 1-3 years of relevant experience within Michigan public education
• 2-3 years of data analytics experience
• Familiarity with overall data management and time-sensitive reporting procedures
• Ability to work in a fast pace and deadline-driven environment
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills
• High ability to multi-task efficiently and exercise initiative to learn and meet federal, state, and district authorizer reporting requirements
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong familiarity with Google Workspace are a must
• Prior management of student information system tools (PowerSchool) is a plus

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a fast learner
• Able to set priorities and work efficiently in a remote setting
• Able to work in a remote setting and supply your own equipment
• Comfortable with new technologies and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
