SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR)

WHO YOU ARE

The Sales Development Representative reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for prospecting, consulting with, and qualifying business owners and decision-makers at small and medium-sized businesses. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Sales, the Sales Development Representative is responsible for qualifying and generating new sales leads sourced through multiple sources, with the goal of booking meetings for Account Executives. Ideal candidates will have a positive, confident, and dynamic personality, and display excellent written and verbal communication skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Qualify leads to confirm they are a good fit for PEX. 
  • Makes outbound prospecting calls with targets set by Direct of Sales to be reviewed monthly.
  • Accurately record information and details of correspondence in Salesforce.
  • Align customer schedule with Account Executive calendar to schedule Demos. 
  • Actively participate in sourcing efforts with Account Executives. 
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified leads, meetings booked, and closed opportunities. 
  • Work with management to improve the lead qualifying processes.
  • Cover for the Sales Team when individuals are out of the office by fielding phone calls, advancing opportunities, and assisting customers through the buying process. 
  • Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge; reviews professional publications; establishes personal networks; benchmarks state-of-the-art practices; participates in professional societies.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0-2 years of experience in sales 
  • Must speak Spanish fluently
  • Comfortable in making cold calls to highly targeted prospects
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette with a confident, friendly voice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work effectively within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Motivated to consistently exceed expectations 
  • Proficient in Salesforce, google workplace, Outreach, Zoom, ZoomInfo, or other sales-related platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate well across teams
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Solid organizational skills, follow-up, and high attention to detail
  • Highly effective time management and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints with composure
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships and excel in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to provide a positive, successful experience for all stakeholders.
