Position Summary:

Provides strategic advice to HR leadership team regarding targeted growth, operational efficiency, and strategy initiatives. Provides hands-on expertise in people operations activities, including all HR systems and related data, compliance requirements and training, performance management and related systems, policy implementation and tracking. Provides oversight to all people operations activities by improving processes, prioritizing activities, and creating innovative solutions to operational challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in defining and driving HR’s growth strategy and key strategic initiatives
  • Supports the HR Senior Leadership team in strategic planning, portfolio strategy, investment allocation, and business transformation to significantly impact the direction and growth of HR function
  • Develops strategic guidelines, processes, and procedures for HR Operations teams and participates in broader corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people
  • Manages day-to-day operations and planning including facilitation of the standardization of HR processes, systems functionality, and technology solutions, as well as address and resolve operational issues to ensure HR operations/processes remain on track.
  • Supports the HR business systems requirements including system architecture, upgrades, configuration changes, enhancements and strategic implementation projects. Includes partnering closely with HR SMEs to ensure systems enable critical business processes in an efficient and user-friendly way.
  • Leads a continuous improvement mindset by ensuring the use of process discipline and data-driven decisions.
  • Ensures HR operational processes stay current with local, state, and national regulations (in collaboration with internal legal counsel) and address any non-compliance matters in a timely and effective manner.
  • Analyzes and streamlines current operational and system processes to remove inefficiencies and improve data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Works with HR external vendors to assess and implement system improvements.
  • Leads all people operations activities as a program manager and implementation specialist.
  • Ensures all team members are trained and effectively using all HR systems, current processes and roles are streamlined and clear, and internal processes are efficient, effective, and clearly documented to support our employee and manager experience across the full employee life cycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, MIS or related field
  • 7 years of related experience, or combination of education and experience.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Consultative skills: the ability to build strong partnerships and to influence without authority as well as influence confidently, effectively, and collaboratively.
  • Experience streamlining HR processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and present data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
