Personalis, Inc is Hiring a Software Engineer (QA/Automation) Near Fremont, CA
Summary
The Software Engineer (QA/Automation) will serve as part of team to design, develop and execute QA tests for company tools and products that include dashboards, workflow management and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Will implement and enhance automated test frameworks to drive test automation goals and to support continuous integration and regression testing.
- Will document all software validation work in the form of test plans, test specs and test results to adhere to our company’s product lifecycle operating procedures.
- Work to include architecture, design, implementation, test and deployment in collaborative, fast-paced culture, applying cloud-first design.
- Will work with internal and external customers to resolve issues and fix defects, communicate challenges and problems proactively and work collaboratively to find solutions, and perform other duties as needed.
Part time remote work/work at home may be permitted within commuting distance of Fremont, CA office.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, in computer engineering or related field
- At least 3 years in position offered or in role, testing sw applications
- Software testing, incl. evaluation of testing approaches
- Evaluate database queries as part of testing
- Test automation, incl. UI automation
- Sikuli, Java
- Version Control Tool and Jenkins
- Agile/Scrum
- Jira, Redmine and TestRail
- Write SQL queries for data validations using SQL, Developer and TOAD
