Preschool Teacher's Assistant

This position serves as an assistant teacher for a classroom with direct focus on preschoolers. The assistant teacher will work collaboratively with another teacher(s) to ensure the successful operation of a classroom with a total of 10 to 20 children mixed in age from 3 to 5 years. The assistant teacher also works with a team of other classroom teachers and family members to implement the Creative Curriculum to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.

The successful applicant will meet at a minimum these qualifications:

• Have a high school diploma or passed a high school equivalency test

The position is full-time (40 hours), Monday-Friday.

Applicants with a CDA or associate degree in Early Childhood Education will be considered for the role of Lead Teacher and compensated at a higher rate.
