The work location for this role is flexible, but preference will be given to those located in the Western United States. We are not able to hire those who live outside the U.S.
What’s the role?
As Financial Analyst in our Business Transition & Succession (BTS) and Transaction Advisory Service practice areas, you’ll provide analysis and planning for shareholders of large, successful, privately held businesses. This could involve internal ownership transition, external third-party sale, advanced estate planning, etc.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that works directly with clients and coordinates with legal, tax, and other consulting specialists. Key responsibilities and competencies include:

Of course, there’s also competitive pay, benefits, and perks (including remote work). Generally, the salary range is $70K - $90K annually. The recruiting team will be happy to discuss salary during your initial conversation, including variables such level of experience, any desire for reduced hours, bonuses, benefits, etc. Additional compensation may be available for those who live in areas with a higher cost of labor than Portland, OR.
What experience is needed?
Our ideal candidate is someone with an understanding of financial statements, tax returns, forecasting/modeling, personal financial planning, and business fundamentals. This person is passionate about providing excellent client service and developing client and coworker relationships. They’re also an expert at using Excel and adept at reviewing and understanding the client’s personal, family and business situation. A successful analyst will be organized, knowledgeable of the planning strategies and tools and is able to balance multiple concurrent projects.
