Position Details

• Develops and implements organizational accounting practices based on GAAP.

• Manages finance team, including all human resource related items for team.

• Assists with preparation, analysis and coordination of monthly financial statement preparation.

• Prepares monthly volume reporting.

• Reviews monthly financial statements prior to final CFO review and presentation to appropriate parties.

• Assists with monthly journal entries as needed.

• Ensures financial reporting deadlines are met, both internally and externally.

• Assists with monthly balance sheet reconciliation as needed.

• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures across the organization.

• Assist managers with general ledger and financial questions.

• Compile annual audit schedules for external audit, along with coordinating the timing and preparation with necessary individuals.

• Assist with compiling annual cost report data and hospital annual report (HAR) data.

• Organize the annual budget by working with departments to prepare.

• Review all federal tax, state tax, sales tax, hospital tax, and ECPN payments.

• Review quarterly tax reports and year-end wage files and submit to applicable reporting agencies as needed.

• Review and approve monthly EOT Pharmacy, EMS and St James Manor (others as needed) financials.

What You Offer

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Healthcare accounting or public accounting experience preferred.

• Excellent computer skills.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. · This position requires the ability to be organized and work on an independent basis.

Work Schedule

• Full-time; 80 hours per biweekly pay period.
• Monday-Friday, flexible work schedule
