PSI is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to our team in Illinois. (Our offices are located in Lombard)Our IL office was voted #1 Best Places to Work in IL in 2021!

This individual will handle the electrical design for our Guaranteed Energy Savings & Design-Build Construction projects. They will be tasked with the design of major & minor modifications to electrical system to help incorporate installation of HVAC Equipment and other building automation systems. As well as completing electrical design for large Design-Build building renovations.

This role will also be heavily involved in theelectrical design of Solar projects, providing design drawings, including but not limited to one-line and three-line diagrams, electrical layouts, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, grounding, and conduit details.

Majority of the projects are in the K-12, Higher Ed & Municipalities markets.

Our Electrical Engineers usually are working on 4-6 projects at any given time, all in different stages. So this individual must be able to multitask.

PSI currently does most of the design work in AutoCAD but has been incorporating more Revit projects.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing complex electrical projects in construction industry
• Knowledge of electrical systems and codes.
• Experience working on lighting design is a plus.
• Experience with solar projects preferred 

Required Education:

• BSEE from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Professional Engineer registration in states where projects are conducted is preferred.

This position has a pay range of $95K - $125K depending on skill set and experience.There is also a 10-15% bonus potential. As well as very good benefits (PSI covers 100% of health insurance premiums).
