PDW Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Full Time Traffic Controllers for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. Full Time Traffic Controllers will perform routine duties related to information gathering, radio communications, customer service, maintaining an inventory of equipment and/or materials, moment to moment risk assessment, problem solving, physical observation of tracks, spotting for high-risk events and operation of track safety cameras. Traffic Controllers may perform clerical duties and initial or sustained care of employees in the event of an emergency. This Traffic Controller position offers an AM Day shift and is based out of Wittmann, AZ. Candidates meeting the requirements below are strongly encouraged to apply. AM Day shift plus possible Overtime available.
Responsibilities:
Provides information to track users including weather, track status or safety situations that may arise
Monitors and maintains inventory of track safety equipment and tools including vehicles and their respective equipment and/or materials, coordinates maintenance or stocking with internal staff
Performs a variety of clerical activities, which may include typing and editing communications materials; maintaining department filing system; answering phones and taking messages; and/or, performing other related activities
Performs field environment spotting for high-risk tracks and operations
Responds to emergencies on or off the track according to direction, procedure, and level of training
Performs radio command for all tracks for access: egress, point of contact, and emergency systems; May perform point of contact duties for fire related incidents or other emergencies
Performs real time assessments on a continuous basis for all track operations and updates track operations or mitigates conflicts to ensure safe operation for users on the tracks at all times
Performs cursory inspections of vehicles performing trailer tow, high speed, or on a random basis for vehicles and personnel entering the track system for safety compliance
Participates in emergency drills, training, and may attend track safety related meetings
Shifts:
Monday - Friday plus Overtime as needed

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Have a valid Arizona driver's license and a good driving record
Minimum 3 years' driving experience in the U.S.
Possesses customer service principles
Ability to use a computer and related software applications
Ability to operate modern office equipment
Radio communication
Prepare accurate grammatically correct written reports
Understand and carry out oral and written directions in an independent manner
Meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform the assigned duties
Enter data into a computer
Monitor and maintain inventory and equipment
Understand and operate video surveillance equipment
