Peregrine Senior Living at The Athenaeum located in Skaneateles, NY is a leading provider of senior assisted living and is committed to providing its residents with exceptional care and supervision.

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Activities Director.

Schedule: Part Time – 20 hours/week – flexible schedule a must, weekend and evenings required at times

Salary:Starting at $15/hour – based on experience

Activities Director Responsibilities include:

• Manages all aspects of the Activity Program
• Supervise, develop, and schedule all Activity staff to include drivers and activity assistants according to PSL policies, procedures, and standards
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate Activity department supplies
• Ensure that activity rooms/areas are prepared for scheduled activity program
• Manages the PSL Discovery Tool (Social History and Assessment), including completing monthly activity calendar, and all move in actions related to activities for all residents

Activities Director Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field with one-year related experience and/or training preferredOR
• Associate degree in recreation or related field with related work experienceOR
• 3-5 years full-time experience working with adult recreation
