Responsibilities

The Global Health and Financial Solutions team is seeking a QA Process Manager to join our team. Peraton serves as a valued partner to essential government agencies across the intelligence, space, cyber, defense, civilian, health, and state and local markets. The qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area within a department(s) which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:

• Manages a team of testing resources including the planning/scheduling, training and mentorship to personnel, ensuring proper resourcing, and status reporting to senior management
• Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Develops or specifies standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
• Develops testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
• Documents software defects, using a bug tracking system, and reports defects to software developers.
• Documents test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
• Identifies program deviance from standards, and suggests modifications to ensure compliance.
• Installs, maintains, or uses software testing programs.
• Monitors bug resolution efforts and tracks successes.
• Participates in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Plans test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Provides task direction and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Responsible for process improvement initiatives as they relate to testing efforts
• Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
• Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
• Participates in meetings as required.
• Supports the release management process and documentation.
• Coordinates test database refresh activities.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 10-12 years, Master's degree with 8-10 years, Phd with 5-7 years of experience
• Experience in managing testing, software development, operations, or quality assurance teams
• Experience in the implementation of organizational processes and best practices
• Experience as a tester and testing tools and processes
• Experience in the development and maintenance of quality assurance programs
• Experience in the review, analysis and reporting on quality discrepancies
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and have sound judgment
• Attention to detail, quick learner, have a positive attitude, ability to multi-task, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of all security plans and deliverables
• Possess critical thinking skills, reading and interpretation, writing, and communication skills
• Able to work closely with all project stakeholders while delivering solutions
• Works with limited supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
• Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture.

Colorado Salary Minimum: $78,300 Colorado Salary Maximum: $189,900 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
