Peraton is Hiring a Systems Engineer III Near Landover, MD
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer III to join our team in Landover, MD.
What you'll do:
- Perform Systems Integration Engineering and Implementation services across the enterprise for hardware, software, and applications.
- Coordinate all design and integration activities for IT services to ensure consistency and business focus.
- Analyze the effectiveness and proper functioning of secure and resilient IT infrastructures, environments, applications and data/information resources and capability and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: BS Degree and 5-7 years of experience, or MS Degree with 3-5 years, or PhD wit 0-2 years. Will consider additional experience in lieu of degree requirements.
- Experience in Infrastructure/Datacenter engineering and integration for both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting one or more Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Solaris, UNIX, and/or AIX systems.
- One or more engineering disciplines:
- Storage Engineering: multiple enterprise HPE Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- Network Engineering: Cisco network LAN/WAN, Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering: VMware vCloud Enterprise Suite; hybrid cloud with multiple classified Government clouds.
- Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security CE).
- Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional-level Linux, VMware, Network, Storage, or Cloud certifications desired.
- ITIL Foundations certification desired.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO Tagline (Text Only)
