Hybrid Cloud Systems Cyber Systems Developer - Sharepoint

Location: Onsite in Kansas City, Missouri

Overview: 

We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to:

Support US Marine Corps (USMC) enterprise-level hybrid cloud data center and EIS/SharePoint operations

Enable USMC world-wide customers to execute critical missions via collaboration

What you will do:

As a Senior SharePoint Developer you will support USMC customers world-wide to enable warfighter operations via SharePoint and SharePoint Online (SPO) capabilities. 

• Responsible for development of Sharepoint/SPO capabilities supporting the cybersecurity and operations of the Sharepoint On-Prem and SPO environment. 
• Team member in executing development work supporting the USMC enterprise Sharepoint/SPO capabilities.
• Coordinates with other EIS team members to ensure successful integration and cybersecurity of developed capabilities for operation of the Sharepoint/SPO environment.
• Responsible for the design, development, deployment, maintenance, configuration, and sustainment of the EIS applications and systems.
• Conducts development activities and supports resolution of issues including investigation and diagnosis, workaround enactment, root cause analysis and resolution for all incidents and problems.
• Supports development and reporting on application performance.
• Duties include development using organic Sharepoint and Sharepoint Online capabilities including associated and supporting infrastructure including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI (to include associated Power Platform components such as DataVerse).
• In addition, provide support for USMC Enterprise App Store and App Catalog for SharePoint Framework Toolchain (SPFx) solutions, PnP Powershell, HTML, Visual Studio, Java Script internal and external to the enterprise.
• Candidate must be an IAT II level contractor and possess general knowledge pertaining to multiple technical disciplines (Networking, Storage, OS, Virtualization, etc.), Windows Administration, knowledge of datacenter virtualization systems and database operations, and fundamental understanding of ITIL processes necessary to execute Sharepoint/SPO development efforts.
• Requires specific knowledge and senior-level experience with SharePoint/SPO Enterprise configuration and management, Enterprise ITSM queue operations, experience with the configuration of Sharepoint/SPO monitoring and management solutions.
• Requires senior-level knowledge and experience developing capabilities for Sharepoint on-Prem and Sharepoint online environment and ability to prioritize and plan work independently. 
• Supports customer communication for development efforts and cooperatively works with all other developers on operation, security and sustainability of the environment.
• Supports cybersecurity requirements to obtain approval to operate and authorization to use Sharepoint/SPO development platforms and developed capabilities. 

Qualifications

BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7

• Active/Current DoD SECRET Clearance, Must be US Citizen and hold IAT II Certification
• Demonstrated experience and ability to use organic Sharepoint and Sharepoint Online capabilities including associated and supporting infrastructure including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI (to include associated Power Platform components such as DataVerse).
• Demonstrated experience and ability to develope SP/SPO capabilities using SharePoint Framework Toolchain (SPFx) solutions, PnP Powershell, HTML, Visual Studio, Java Script .
• Knowledge and experience operating enterprise capabilities including general knowledge pertaining to multiple technical disciplines (Networking, Storage, OS, Virtualization, etc.), Windows Administration,
• Operating with datacenter virtualization systems and database operations
• Operating in an enterprise ITSM Process framework including project management principles
• Experience using ITSM tool for managing work such as BMC Remedy
• Experience implementing Agile and Project Management principles to execute enterprise-level Sharepoint/SPO development efforts.
• Secific knowledge and senior-level experience with SharePoint/SPO Enterprise configuration and management, Enterprise ITSM queue operations, experience with the configuration of Sharepoint/SPO monitoring and management solutions.
• Senior-level knowledge and experience developing capabilities for Sharepoint on-Prem and Sharepoint online environment and ability to prioritize and plan work independently. 
• Demonstrated excellence in customer communication for development efforts and cooperatively works with all other developers on operation, security and sustainability of the environment. 
• Deomonstrated experience and understanding of cybersecurity requirements to obtain approval to operate and authorization to use Sharepoint/SPO development platforms and developed capabilities
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of secure development practices, and DOD STIG and application security practices and requirements.
