Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development of customer and IC policy, to include updates of existing or outdated policy.• Provide advice, editorial expertise, and consultative support to policy development to include: development of new policies and updating or improvement of existing policies; providing advice and expertise to inform management decisions; and providing consultation in program and project management and implementation and administration of policies.• Provide government-wide benchmarking policy research, analyses, and evaluation in support of policy development, management, and / or administration.• Conduct statutory and other legal research coordinate policies developed by Policy & Strategy (P&S) or submitted by components; and provide editorial, formatting, and policy expertise in support of draft policy products during the coordination process with OGC, components, and with IC elements, as needed.• Conduct legal, policy, and subject matter research, IC-wide benchmarking, analysis, and evaluation in support of policy development, management, and/or implementation.• Facilitate the coordination of policies developed by the Policy Group or components; and provide editorial, formatting, and adjudicative expertise during the coordination process with components, IC elements, OGC, and other stakeholders. • Develop white papers, talking points, and briefings for P&S management and senior leadership.• Document and maintain SOPs for policy-related activities performed in the course of support to policy development. • Maintain repositories of policy documents and serve as Content Manager for the policy libraries and P&S website.• Develop, implement, and maintain a process to identify, track, and complete action items to capture trend analysis of customer and IC policies and de-conflict policy process issues that may arise.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA with 18 years experience or MS with 10 years experience
• TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
• Experience with:
  • At least 5 years experience with policy development
  • Proven ability to provide advice, editorial expertise, and consultative support to policy development to include: development of new policies and updating or improvement of existing policies; providing advice and expertise to inform management decisions; and providing consultation in program and project management and implementation and administration of policies.
  • Experience with benchmarking policy research, analyses, and evaluation in support of policy development, management, and / or administration.
  • Ability to conduct statutory and other legal research coordinate policies; and provide editorial, formatting, and policy expertise.
  • Conduct legal, policy, and subject matter research, IC-wide benchmarking, analysis, and evaluation in support of policy development, management, and/or implementation.
  • Experience developing white papers, talking points, and briefings

Colorado Salary Minimum: $101,800 Colorado Salary Maximum: $247,000 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
