Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for their cloud engineer opportunity.
The candidate will work as a cloud engineer as part of an enterprise cloud services team supporting the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the Department of Labor (DOL). In this role, the candidate will work in an operational environment provisioning, maintaining, and decommissioning cloud Infrastructure services and perform troubleshooting / issue resolution, and improvement activities for cloud infrastructure used across the agency. As part of the OCIO Cloud Services team, the candidate will work directly with agency customers to understand the cloud service requirements and using best practices and experience to provide solutions that align with the standards and offerings of the cloud services team. In addition, the candidate will be supporting the evolution of the DOL multi account architecture.
The OCIO Cloud Services team’s focus is on providing cloud infrastructure and does not perform application DevOps. Application DevOps is managed by other teams.
