Provides the transfer of knowledge sharing, so that the organization know how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Promotes knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes. Strengthens links between knowledge sharing and the information systems and improves integration among information systems in the organization to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems. Promotes collaborative tools such as activity rooms to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners. Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting. Shares experiences across communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing, including preparation of case studies. Help to monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities. May supervise more junior team members. Maintains communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of brochures/presentations. Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs and with the company’s or customers information infrastructure. Experience in establishing effective partnerships within and outside the organization.
Assists aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production. Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes. Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings. Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
The Contractor shall provide Knowledge Management support to the CACW Program Management Office (PMO) and MSIC Division Branches, coordinating activities to ensure continued compliance with Command policies and procedures. The Contractor shall manage KM site (currently SharePoint), and respond to PM and DPM requests to analyze and implement improvements to the KM site using live data feeds and integration of external capabilities. The Contractor shall identify and resolve any specific troubleshooting issues encountered by end users and discovered through pre-release testing, including permissions and technical issues. The Knowledge Manager shall at a minimum (but not limited to):
Post, edit, distribute, and maintain appropriate content for classified and unclassified websites/portals.
Develop and maintain an accurate, consistent, repeatable process for collecting, consolidating, and preparing written responses to Requests for Information (RFI) or internal queries from leadership.
Create and maintain records in compliance with DoD Records Management policies and directives.
Organize data, establish file structures, and ensure information is captured and stored in locations accessible to various user groups.
Develop tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for coordinating the flow of information and work to periodically test said TTPs during exercises.
Integrate information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
Train and educate front-end users of the knowledge management tools.
Develop reports, write knowledge content, and prepare presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives, or enhancements.
Monitor solution benefits and key measures of success to ensure that ongoing benefits are realized, and facilitate development of controls with business partners through streamlining processes and system automation.
Support all positions with appropriate analysis and backup materials.
Collaborate across all business units to communicate complex concepts.
