Responsibilities

We are seeking an Embedded Software Developer to join our team on-site in Silver Spring, MD.

In this role you will:

• Use expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.
• Work collaboratively in an engineering lab environment with a small, multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers.
• Review and evaluate systems and software for adherence to government standards, guidelines, and criteria.
• Will be responsible for software/firmware development, system integration, and system testing of embedded solutions.
• Assist in the verification of completed design elements, including Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V).
• Work requires quick advance from concepts to working products.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, e.g., Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with at least 3 years of experience in software development for embedded systems. May consider experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum active Top Secret security clearance required. 
• Create and execute automated test scripts.
• Ability to integrate operating systems, open source and third party software.

Desired Qualifications:

• Programming languages: C/C , Java, C#, Python, Linux.
• Perform regression testing.

Colorado Salary Minimum: $53,000 Colorado Salary Maximum: $128,600 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
