Overview

Per Mar Security Services has been a family owned and operated, full-service security company since its inception in 1953.  We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.

We are looking for a full time Field Supervisor.  Pay is $19

an hour. Must have a valid driver's licenese with a clean record to apply. Must pass a drug test and background check. Previous security experience  is a plus.

Must have some type of Supervisory experience.

The hours are - 

Sunday -  4pm - midnight

Monday -  Midnight - 8am

Tuesday -  Midnight - 8am

Wednesday  - Midnight - 8am

Thursday - Off

Friday - Off

Saturday - 4pm - midnight

 

 

Job Skills / Requirements

The purpose of this position is to provide security for the client's property, operations and employees by responding to and effectively handling alarm calls and mobile stops in accordance with the requirements of the client contract and state and local regulations. 

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for everything that happens during your shift.  You are the eyes and ears for managment staff during non-buisness hours. 
  • Handle any call-offs that may happen by contacting security officers to fill shifts
  • Help the Alarm Response Officers with alarms or mobile stops
  • Respond to general service department requests.
  • Perform Security Officer duties, as needed, for open shifts until the Dispatcher arranges coverage.
  • Complete and process all paperwork required for this position including, but not limited to, report filing of daily alarm activity, trip sheets, and accident and vehicle reports.
  • Conduct inspections of accounts.
  • Maintain a good driving record and adhere to all company vehicle policies and procedures.
  • When appropriate, inform customers of Per Mar Security Services of products and services and refer business to the appropriate department.
  • As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to: current customers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes.

What you’ll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three to six month’s previous security and/or mobile security experience, and/or training in the security field is preferred.
  • Must be able to be licensed according to all state rules and regulations that govern the licensing of security personnel to perform work in the state where the position is located.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must adhere to, be aware of and follow all safety procedures and proper use of all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
