Job Summary

What you’ll do: Reporting to the Infrastructure Team Lead we have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer I who will provide design input, implement, and support the IT Infrastructure; including Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, cloud architecture/design, Active Directory/Group Policies, DNS/DHCP, SAN storage, backup and restore, disaster recovery, capacity planning and performance tuning. You will identify, research, and resolves technical problems while ensuring the highest levels of accessibility, optimization, and security. As a Systems Engineer your responsibilities will include all architecture related to Windows Server systems including – Active Directory/Group Policy, DNS DHCP, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp), operating systems (Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2016, Red Hat Enterprise Linux), email/collaboration (Exchange Online), Storage Area Network (SAN), firmware and application updates, vulnerability patching (WSUS, SCCM), anti-virus, identity management (ADFS), PKI infrastructure, and backup technologies. Basic Qualifications

What we want to see in you: • 2-4 years engineering experience in Information Technology including: • Demonstrable knowledge/experience of Active Directory, GPO management, back-end focused virtualization and storage. • Azure, O365 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience with MCSE/MCSA certifications are a plus. • VMware Certified Professional and/or Citrix certifications are desirable. • Experience of automation and PowerShell scripting is preferred• Operational Technology and SCADA experience is a plus• Experience monitoring systems to ensure appropriate performance and SLA’s are not violated. You must be able to troubleshoot SAN switching, SAN Storage, Ethernet switching, Dell and EMC hardware as needed. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science (or related experience)• Excellent customer service, written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely, and professionally) with internal customers• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
