Overview

Supports the mission of People's Community Clinic by promoting the clinic’s public image and message in a positive manner.

The starting hourly rate for this possition is $21.63 - $26.44.

Responsibilities

• Provide communications/marketing support for Development and clinic department projects.
• Develop content for supporter and patient newsletters, Annual Report, and other materials.
• Develop content for and manage town hall-style public broadcasts and other communications events.
• Manage and regularly update website with new material.
• Work with Communications Committee members; meeting preparation including agendas, meeting materials and taking minutes.
• Respond to routine media requests and provide logistical support for media interviews.
• Assist with content for social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), including livestream events.
• Assist with print and design projects, including creation of artwork and soliciting printer bids.
• Identify opportunities to improve work flow, work processes, and work cooperatively to implement these and other quality improvements.

Qualifications

Education: Associate degree

Experience:Three to five years’ experience in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficiency in graphic design.
• Proficiency with Adobe CC, Canva, and other graphic design software.
• Proficiency with video content development and editing skills.
• Experience with WordPress, TablePress, or comparable, preferred.
• Experience with MailChimp and other email marketing systems preferred.
• Experience with social media platforms; knowledge of trends.
• Project management skills
• Experience with streaming services such as Streamyard, OBS, and YouTube.
• Digital awareness, knowledge of a variety of digital platforms
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a variety of demands in a fast-paced environment.
