Job Overview

The Application Developer will be responsible for the overall coding and design of technology solutions that address the business needs of Pennymac.

Job Description

  • Design and Develop Application Architectural Framework. Develop Web application using MVC5, C#.Net, HTMLS, JQuery, Kendo UI, Entity Framework. Develop cloud based solutions usingAmazon AWS tools EC2 instances, S3 storage, Elastic Cache and Lambda. Design and builddatabase models using tables, views, stored procedures, triggers and database components.
  • Contribute to documentation of program functionality as required by leveraging expertise tocontribute to solution architecture.
  • Develop Restful APIs that act as service layer and can be accessed from both internal andcustomer facing web applications. Develop nugget packages that can be integrated with otherapplications to drastically reduce the development effort.
  • Develop ETL packages using SSIS 2012 to extract and process large sets of data for batchprocessing.
  • Conduct system and business process analysis and review design documents. Ensuremaintenance for product deployment to Cloud Platform and Enhancements.
  • Define, establish, communicate and manage development quality and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Five (5) years’ post-baccalaureate experience as Software Developer, Project Associate,or related role. Experience must include Full Stack DotNet Application Development of web and mobile applications using C#, AngularJS, Asp.Net MVC 5/6, ASP.NET Core 2.0/2.2, MVVM, WebAPI, AWS Cloud (EC2 and S3 buckets), MVC 4.0 Razor Engine, GITrepository, Entity Framework and Swagger.
