What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Accountant position at Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute?
Primarily responsible for financial accounting and payroll processing. Assists Finance Manager with preparation and processing of biweekly payroll, monthly financial statements, close responsibilities and requested analysis as needed. Daily contact with management, and staff.
- Two (2) years' experience to include financial accounting and payroll preferred.
- Post-secondary degree preferred.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software programs.
- Good oral and written communication skills required.
- Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
