Pennoni is currently looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis at our Construction Materials Laboratory in King of Prussia, PA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage quality programs for Construction Engineering region.
- Disciplines include Special Inspections; Construction Materials Testing; Transportation Construction Management and Inspection; Bridge Fabrication Inspection; and Geotechnical Engineering.
- Maintain quality manuals; accreditations and certifications; quality documentation and records, which include internal/external equipment calibrations and maintenance reports.
- Perform field, office and laboratory audits.
- Liaison with regulatory agencies.
- Assist with training and certification.
- Provide quality consulting services
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- 4-7 years of professional experience working in Construction Materials and/or Lab Testing.
- Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Quality certification (i.e. ASQ, ISO or similar) is a plus, but not required
- Technical base in engineering, construction materials testing and inspection, construction and/or quality management.
- Honesty, integrity, dependability and punctuality.
- Self-starter. Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
