PennEngineering is seeking a motivated, excited, individual to be a part of Corporate Human Resources Team. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist at PennEngineering, you’ll collaborate with teams in our Danboro Corporate Office and Manufacturing Plant that do truly amazing things.

As a subject matter expert in hiring you will provide input to help our business teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals; ensure that talent needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind; devise and implement sourcing strategies including partnerships with schools to build pipelines for current and future talent needs; create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to provide a positive experience for candidates and form close relationships with hiring managers to set clear expectations on roles and responsibilities in the hiring process.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs (current and future) and candidate selection criteria
  • Develop hiring profiles and respective sourcing strategies for both hourly and salaried roles; develop ongoing and creative sourcing methods particularly for hard to fill roles.
  • Partner with schools to create brand awareness of our opportunities and represent PennEngineering as an employer of choice; attending events and hosting information sessions, sponsor relevant club meetings, etc.
  • Support hiring managers in the creation of job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Review resumes and screen candidates based on job description and hiring manager requirements
  • Counsel hiring manager on candidate selection and offers; create and extend offers, and oversee the background check process
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline, host onsite events as appropriate
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, resume databases, and professional networks is required
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along
  • High sense of urgency and organizational skills
