Description

The HR Generalist will:

• Work directly with the Human Resources Director daily on most projects
• Post open positions and update job descriptions
• Conduct pre-screening interviews and formal interviews to see whether candidates will be a good fit
• Process onboarding using Paylocity to include: conduct background checks, verify employment eligibility using proper I9 documents and Everify, input all new hire information into system
• Welcome new hires on their first day by providing a tour and helping them complete required trainings
• Educate employees on all company standards and benefits
• Schedule and conduct New Hire Orientations
• Keep track of guest reviews for employee incentives
• Complete verification of employments
• Keep managers aware of all policies and procedures 
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in human resources and employment law
• Perform I9 audit
• Stay up to date with HRD on employee relations
• Assist employees with open enrollments for insurance and 401K
• Plan and execute employee events for diversity, inclusion, and morale

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must also be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform these essential functions of the job.

• 2 years in HR
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
• Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess excellent computational ability
• Might require weekends time to time
• Must be attentive to details
• Must be able to pass a background check 
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must have initiative
