We are a thriving Farmers Insurance District committed to providing exceptional insurance solutions to our clients. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and high-performance Sales Representative to join our team.

Compensation:

We believe in paying exceptionally well for outstanding performance. Our compensation plan is unmatched and truly allows our team members to make an incredible income.

$18-25/hr (depending on experience)

PLUS uncapped commission pay

With our generous commission payment program, some of our top producers are earning $100k /yr. With the right motivation and work ethic, the possibilities are endless!

Schedule:

Part-Time or Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

No necessary experience required although previous experience in sales or in insurance is preferred

Language:

Spanish preferred but not required

License/Certification:

Property & Casualty License preferred but not required

Life and Health License preferred but not required

We can assist with licensing

Ability to commute/relocate:

Santa Cruz County Area: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work at one of our On-Site locations

Work Location:

One location (NOT REMOTE)

Responsibilities


Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Representative:

  • ?Build and maintain a client base by proactively reaching out to potential customers.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to understand clients' needs and offer tailored insurance solutions.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of various insurance policies, including auto, home, life, and more.
  • Close sales and generate revenue while meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively advise clients.

Requirements


Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Representative:

  • Proven sales experience in the insurance industry is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Willingness to obtain the necessary insurance licenses (if not already licensed).
  • Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with insurance software is a plus.

Is this a remote opportunity?

No. We have agencies located throughout Santa Cruz County looking for amazing talent to work On-Site in a professional office environment.

Is prior insurance sales experience required?

No! You don’t need to know anything about insurance or insurance sales to apply. We provide all of the product and sales training that you’ll need to be successful!

Do I need to have an insurance licensed to work for you?

Although we would preferred a licensed candidate, this is not a requirement since we are will willing to sponsor the licensing process for the right candidate.

Absolutely not! We provide all of the leads! Our salespeople never have to worry about reaching out to their friends or family and asking them for business.

Is this a commission-only position?

Absolutely not! Our compensation plan is unmatched in the marketplace. We offer a base salary with uncapped commission!

What can I reasonably expect to make in the first year?

If you follow our sales process, at the very least you can expect to make $70,000 in your first year with your base salary and commissions.
