Pediatric Eye Care & Surgery is Hiring a Medical Office Receptionist Near Orange, CA

We are a solo physician pediatric ophthalmology practice seeking a cheerful, outgoing individual who loves being around children.

THIS IS A PART-TIME, LONG-TERM POSITION (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:45 am to 4:45 pm). If you are unable to work these hours, please do not apply.

Applicant Requirements:

- Friendly and cheerful personality with excellent communication skills

- Patience when dealing with children and worried/upset parents

- Outstanding attention to detail/accuracy

- Ability to multi-task

- Motivated and quick learner

- Ability to work well both independently and as a team member

Job Description (but not limited to the following):

- Checking patients in/out at front desk

- Collecting balances & co-payments

- Appointment scheduling

- Pulling & prepping charts

- Answering/returning phone calls and voicemail messages

- Performing general office tasks (i.e. data entry, faxing, filing)

- Obtaining authorizations

- Verifying insurance eligibility

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
