Senior Account Manager

The Buyer Network team is responsible for developing and maintaining a vast network of automobile buyers across the country. We’re focused on ensuring our accounts are highly engaged and performing optimally, so we’re looking for an enthusiastic, analytical person to fill the highly crucial role of Senior Account Manager on our team. The right person for the job will be able to quickly grasp Peddle’s technology and apply it to address individual clients' needs in order to maximize the success of their business and that of Peddle’s as a whole.

What That Means

You’ll be a key player. That’s right, you’ll be an important and highly visible member of our team. You’ll do things like:

  • Form lasting and lucrative partnerships with our highest value key accounts by means of regular and proactive communication via phone, chat, or face-to-face interactions
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of client accounts to identify opportunities for improved performance and implement any changes necessary
  • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, or quarterly initiatives for clients 
  • Propose ideas for new initiatives and experiments. Track and analyze these results, and assist with experiment rollout to the team
  • Assist with training and act as a subject matter expert for less tenured team members 
  • Data analysis to identify trends and implement changes or improvement
  • Maintain regional performance of a small but highly profitable area
  • Use interpersonal and problem solving skills to resolve escalations promptly while maintaining positive partner relations
  • Work with your peers to champion department projects and help with prioritization and ideas 

On a day to day basis, you’ll be researching and reviewing data on clients’ accounts to learn their business and translate their needs to the Peddle system. You will not only be responsible for growing a buyer’s account with Peddle, but in many ways growing their overall business as well. You will be the first person they turn to for advice, and the first person they go to when things go awry. As a liaison and subject matter expert on Peddle’s technology, you’ll advocate on behalf of buyers to demonstrate value and positive ROI for both their business and Peddle.

What You’ll Need

  • Self-motivation and self-direction to be able to work independently
  • Expert knowledge of the product and the ability to effectively translate client needs for proper adoption
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability to follow-through on action plans 
  • In-depth understanding of company key clients and the industry
  • Professional demeanor to represent the company when traveling for face-to-face meetings at site visits and tradeshows (4 times a year) 
  • Ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • 3 years previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
  • Basic computer skills, and experience with Salesforce, Google suite
  • Preferred Tableau experience
