Peak Dental Services is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Thornton, CO

Description

Apple Tree Dental, located in Thornton on 136th and Colorado Blvd is growing and adding a Dental Assistant to our team to support a General Dentist on a full-time basis. Our Dental Assistants are the backbone to our practice and are one of the resources that give us the ability to continue to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients.

We provide a fun, energetic, and team-oriented office environment, one in which you will have the opportunity for continued education, professional development, and growth. Apple Tree Dental is a family practice providing a wide variety of dental treatments to our patients.

Our ideal Dental Assistant should be well-organized with great attention to detail and someone who works hard to be a great team member helping out wherever needed. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday (with some flexibility) and we offer full benefits and competitive hourly pay, a robust benefits package, daily bonus opportunities, and more. Office Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday 8 am-5 pm
  • Friday 8 am-4 pm

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming patients to the dental office
  • Preparing patients for treatments or checkups
  • Selection and set up of instruments, equipment and materials needed
  • Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
  • Capturing diagnostic radiographs
  • Assisting the dentist, 4-handed dentistry
  • Proficient in placing and adjusting composite fillings
  • Taking Impressions
  • Fabrication of temp crowns
  • Undertaking lab tasks as instructed
  • Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with payment procedures

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of clinical chairside Dental Assisting experience
  • CPR- BLS Certification
  • Denticon experience is a PLUS~
