PEA Group is Hiring a Proposal Coordinator Near Auburn, MI

Overview:

The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for proposal preparation and coordination, marketing research for corporate marketing initiatives and business development activities. This role assists in general marketing support including maintaining project and technical staff resume, assisting with digital marketing initiatives, publishing and graphic design for all marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists with planning, formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading proposals, statements of qualifications, and related marketing materials, such as presentation materials and brochures with oversight from the Marketing Manager.
  • Assists the Marketing Coordinator with routine tasks to keep proposal responses up to date including technical staff’s resumes, boilerplate information, and project descriptions and other branded material.
  • Assists Manager of New Business Development with CRM support, mailing lists, trade shows and other tasks as requested.
  • Conducts internal and external research to support proposal development.
  • Researches, collects, writes, and edits content for social media, website, and newsletters.
  • Inputs data into the corporate CRM platform.
  • Manages organization of marketing folders, ensuring they follow required format.
  • Assists with marketing and business development planning efforts.
  • Researches target markets, competition, potential clients, and client satisfaction.
  • Leads the coordination and planning of internal newsletter.
  • Coordinates with Human Resources on new hire announcement and marketing onboarding materials.
  • Responsible for clothing store operations including, new accounts, order issues, and pick ups.
  • Assists in trip coordination including setting meetings.
  • Attends events and visits projects as needed to photograph.
  • Provides administrative support including word-processing, desktop publishing, and graphic design skills to produce proposal and presentations.
  • Supports management team with providing business development and pursuit reports.
  • Supports and maintains individual professional licensure log.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Formal Education, Licenses and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred, or other related discipline or associate’s degree and related experience.


Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in preparing proposals under tight timelines and collaborating with technical staff.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of marketing experience; experience in the A|E|C industry preferred.
  • Knowledge in marketing, branding, and business development strategy.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining project information sheets and technical staff resumes.
  • Experience in developing marketing promotional materials for print or digital publication, internal and external.
  • Experience in coordinating events, both internal and external.
  • Experience using platforms, such as WordPress, LinkedIn, Facebook, Mail Chimp, Survey Monkey and YouTube.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.


Availability

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Requires the ability to occasionally work in the evening/night. Hybrid option is available based on experience and skill level.


Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
