Job Description

HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST

Who is the HR Generalist?

You will primarily be responsible for the administration of company-wide employees, our people systems (including ADP payroll/HRIS, Recruiting Applicant Tracking System) and assist with recruiting and benefits. The HR Generalist is integral part of the team and thrives on performing a variety of duties.

 

 Here’s what you can expect day to day:

  • Coordinate Onboarding process and assist in New Hire Orientation Program.
  • Assist in recruiting life cycle including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, interviews, phone screening, and credit/background checks.
  • Maintain tracking records of employee transfers, 90-Day reviews, annual reviews, career pathing forms, and tuition reimbursement and employee referrals
  • Manage employee data in systems and paper files at all points in their employee journey, including new starters, employee changes and exiting employees.
  • Prepare periodic reports relating to turnover, new hires, terminations, personnel data, census reports for benefits, legally required government reports (EDD report), and other reports as requested by management
  • Continuous learning opportunities and special projects

 

What you’ll bring to the position:

  • College degree in Human Resources, related degree, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of work-related years, minimum of 1 year in Human Resources.
    • Energy, Engagement, and Commitment to providing exceptional service and finding new, innovative ways for improvement.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience with Payroll and Applicant Tracking Systems. ADP and Greenhouse a plus.
    • Ability to produce and analyze data from multiple sources. Use data to suggest ongoing improvement.
