The Business Analyst will report to the Operations Department. This is a hands-on position, and the person in this role with be exposed to different areas of the business. The Business Analyst will work across a number of projects from operational analysis, planning and forecasting, M&A support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a good understanding of business model and risks
• Prepare, edit, and assemble reports required for meetings and presentations
• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
• Ability to capture requirements with efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail on a consistent basis
• Support in analysis, modeling, and other quantitative techniques as needed to answer business questions and evaluate business issues and objection
• Identify opportunities for improving business processes 
• Assist in gathering, validating, and documenting various system information and needs
• Provide support in enhancing the process of documentation for improving procedures and operations
• Safeguard requirements by verifying functionality, accuracy, and completeness of the requirements against the original initiating documents
• Apply knowledge of business process modelling notations
• Provide assistance, as needed, with special projects

Requirements

• BA or BS in business administration or related field
• 0-1 years of experience as Business Analyst working with ERP, CRM, or other business systems
• Proficiency with PowerBI
• Strong Excel skills required
• Well versed in SQL
• Well versed in UML modeling
• Proficient with Microsoft office products with focus on MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Solid grasp of basic accounting and supply chain management concepts
