Summary of Objective: The primary function of this position is to facilitate supply chain functions within the company by driving the company truck. This includes receipt and storage of components, supply and service of production and storage and shipment of finished goods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. 1.Transfers inventory via company truck for production, distribution, destruction, and general inventory relocation. 2. Accurately record, both manually and electronically, the movements of material. 3. Monitor email activity for any priority inventory transfers needed throughout the day. 4. Identify and properly pack different shipping conditions e.g. cold chain, DG, hazmat, DEA, etc. 5. Perform the staging, issuance and delivery of work orders for Clinical Production 6. Able to perform, as a minimum, the following basic Warehouse functions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; Inspection, Receiving to Stock, Inventory Transfer, Material Issuance to Work Order, Return to Stock, WIP (work In Process) Move, Finished Goods Move. 7. Process distribution orders for site or depot shipments. This includes the picking, packaging and shipping of supplies using both JDE and courier software for dispatch. 8. Ensure appropriate documentation is completed and included with domestic and international shipments. 9. Communicate effectively with Distribution Service Administrators and/or Distribution Project Manager on issues pertaining to clinical shipments. 10. Process returns for clinical protocols per accountability levels. 11. Maintain housekeeping standards. 12. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. 13. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. 14. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position 15. Basic Mathematical Skills Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs. Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers. Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations. At least one Year Experience as either a Material Handler preferred. Must be able to lift routinely, up to 50 pounds. Class C License Preferred: Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail. Ability to display excellent time management skills. High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 months related experience and/or training. The base salary range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour) plus annual performance bonus eligibility. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including and not limited to specific and relevant experience, credentials, geography and subject matter expertise.
