Basic Function:
Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001 and SOX 404.
Has primary responsibility for assisting with the management of day-to-day operations of the finance department including: Analysis of financial results and identificiation of potential improvement in the company's financial performance. Preparation and review of ad hoc financial data that is prepared for senior management. Plan, manage and execute all aspects, including supervision of select team members on recurring and non-recurring projects. Identify area's of continuous improvement related to the accuracy and efficiency of data flow and financial reporting. Assist the Controller and VP of Finance with the continued monitoring of compliance related to publicly traded controls and compliance with governmental sub-contracting.

5. Assists in improving overall efficiency and operation of the accounting department through technology utilization and process improvements.
6. Maintains contact with internal customer needs by maintaining close working relationships in order to provide adequate resources in meeting their expectations.

II. Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Monthly Close
Assists in the management of the monthly close of the ERP system. Post and approval of recurring and non-recurring monthly journal entry adjustments. Reviews and approves schedules critical to the accuracy of the monthly financial statements that are prepared by the Staff and Senior Accountants.
Reviews and approves account reconcilations and analysis.
Review of compliance packages prepared by the Senior Accountants for State Sales/use Tax returns as well as other statutory compliance filings.
B. Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis
Review of income statements and balance sheets prepared by the Senior Accountants.
Review of all monthly & interim analysis of general ledger accounts & financial statements.
Reviews and analyzes the monthly, quarterly and annual results. Prepares documentation for the presentation and review with senior leadership.
Assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual analytic files that are provided to Corporate management.
C. Compliance
SOX: Management and enforcement of all internal controls established under SOX (Section 404) including review of all finance department controls performed by Senior Accountants.
CAS: Assists with the preparation and review of all company policies and procedures under CAS and FAR regulations.

D. Special Projects
Assist and/or manage a variety of projects. Project can range from individual or small team to large team projects that cross over multiple departments within the Company. Time involvement can range from hours to days, weeks or possibly months.
