PAZ Healthcare is Hiring a Medication Aide Near POUGHKEEPSIE, NY

Immediate position available for full time Medication Aide in our 92 bed, primarily mental health, NYS Department of Health licensed facility.

The successful candidate will be able to assist the administration of the facility and supervise/assist the residents with the administration of their medication in accordance with the NYS Department of Health regulations.

Responsibilities include:

- the ability to be shift supervisor and supported by on call administration

- supervise and assist residents with the administration of their medications

- maintain proper medication records

- follow NYS Department of Health regulations

- ensure proper storage of medication according to regulations

- assist residents in obtaining their medications

- participate in job training and monthly in-services.

This position requires flexibility with shifts which may include days, nights, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Previous medication administration a plus!

Reliable transportation is a must.
